Job Title: Export Control Solution Architect with HPC Environment Experience
Job Location: Must be based in the US – Remote
Position Type: Contract – Initially 6 months

Job Description:
We are seeking 2 Export Control Solution Architects who have hands-on experience working in High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments. The ideal candidates will possess 4 to 5 years of experience as Cloud Architects, specifically in AWS environments, with a solid understanding of both core and non-core AWS technologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize cloud architecture principles to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructures.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation Templates (CFT).
• Manage and optimize AWS resources like EC2, storage, and other services critical to HPC workloads.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate automation tools for image building, orchestration, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Core Skills:
1. AWS Cloud Knowledge – Deep understanding of AWS services and their implementation
2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Expertise in designing and managing cloud infrastructures using automation tools.
3. CloudFormation Templates (CFT) – Experience in creating and managing CFTs for AWS resources.
4. Terraform – Strong ability to automate infrastructure using Terraform.
5. EC2 – Advanced experience in managing and scaling EC2 instances.
Non-Core Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):
1. Image Builder – Experience in building custom AMIs and managing golden images.
2. Packer – Knowledge of Packer for automating the creation of machine images.
3. Python – Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
4. DevOps – Experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
5. Jenkins – Understanding of Jenkins for pipeline automation.
6. Azure – Experience with Azure cloud solutions is a plus.
7. PBS – Experience with PBS job scheduling software for HPC clusters.
8. Engine Frame – Knowledge of Engine Frame technology.
9. RES – Experience with RES (Resource Management Systems).
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in Cloud Architecture with a focus on AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication skills.
