SAP Business One Partner in India
SAP Business One is enterprise-grade ERP built for small and mid-size businesses — and the quality of the implementation partner determines whether your business captures that value or spends years working around a system that was never properly configured. 2iSolutions is a certified SAP Gold Partner with delivery teams in India, Canada and the UK, serving Indian businesses across manufacturing, distribution, automotive and process industries.
An SAP partner does more than install software. The right partner maps your business processes to the system before configuration begins, identifies the customisations and add-ons that close the gap between SAP standard and your specific requirements, migrates your historical data cleanly and trains your team to use the system effectively. The wrong partner delivers a generic setup that looks complete at go-live and reveals its gaps in the first three months of operation.
2iSolutions has delivered SAP Business One for Indian businesses for over two decades — across discrete manufacturing, automotive components, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, distribution and high-tech. We bring SAP Gold Partner certification, India-specific statutory compliance knowledge (GST, TDS, e-invoicing, e-way bills) and 246+ completed implementations to every engagement.

SAP Business One in India: questions we hear most
SAP Business One is specifically designed for small and mid-size businesses — it is not a cut-down version of SAP S/4HANA, it is a purpose-built SME ERP. The typical Indian SAP Business One customer has 10–250 users, one to five locations and revenues between ₹20 crore and ₹500 crore. The product covers finance, purchasing, inventory, sales, production and service in one integrated system without the implementation complexity or total cost of the large-enterprise SAP suite. For Indian SMEs, the main distinction from generic ERP software is SAP's depth in manufacturing and supply chain — which matters if you are in discrete manufacturing, automotive, pharma or distribution where standard Indian ERP products do not handle production planning, batch traceability or multi-level BOM with the depth that SAP provides. The right way to evaluate fit: a demo session scoped to your specific processes — not a generic product walkthrough.
SAP Business One's India localisation covers GST comprehensively. Configuration covers: GSTIN registration at the company and branch level, HSN/SAC code assignment on items, tax code determination rules (intra-state CGST+SGST, inter-state IGST, export zero-rated), input tax credit tracking, GST return preparation (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B data) and reconciliation. E-invoicing is handled through integration with the IRP (Invoice Registration Portal) — invoices triggered in SAP B1 generate IRN numbers and QR codes automatically and update the sales document. E-way bill generation is integrated for consignments above the threshold. TDS configuration covers Section 194 deductions with TAN-level tracking and TDS certificate generation. We maintain all India statutory configurations on behalf of AMC clients — when GSTN or e-invoicing requirements change, we issue updates as part of the support contract.
Standard single-entity implementation with core modules (finance, purchasing, inventory, sales) and India localisation (GST, TDS, e-invoicing): 8–12 weeks. Adding production/manufacturing modules: 12–16 weeks. Multi-entity, multi-location implementations with integrations and significant customisation: 16–24 weeks. The timeline is primarily determined by: data migration complexity (how much historical data, from how many source systems, in what quality), the number of custom reports and workflows required, the number of add-ons and integrations in scope and the availability of your team for blueprint workshops and UAT. We always recommend aligning go-live with the start of a financial year (April 1) or a calendar quarter to avoid mid-year complexity with open transactions, GST returns and pending reconciliations. We provide a detailed project plan with milestones after the initial scoping session.
Yes — multi-location operations with different state GSTINs are a standard SAP Business One configuration. Each business place (branch or warehouse in a different state) is set up with its own GSTIN, and GST determination logic automatically applies CGST+SGST for intra-state transactions and IGST for inter-state transactions based on the supply-from and ship-to locations. Stock transfers between locations generate the appropriate e-way bills and GST documents. Multiple warehouses within the same entity are managed as inventory locations with inter-location transfer workflows. For businesses with multiple legal entities (separate companies under the same group), SAP Business One supports intercompany transactions with elimination entries for consolidated reporting. The number of GSTINs, locations and entities affects implementation scope and is assessed during the blueprint phase.
Migration from Tally, Busy, custom ERP or spreadsheet-based systems is one of the most common scenarios we handle. The migration process covers: master data extraction and cleansing (customers, vendors, items, chart of accounts — the quality of master data in the source system is usually the biggest variable), opening balance migration (trial balance, outstanding receivables, payables, stock balances as of migration date) and, if required, selective historical transaction migration. We do not recommend migrating full transaction history for most businesses — it is expensive, time-consuming and the historical data is rarely needed in the new system given that the old system remains accessible for reference. The cleaner approach: migrate master data and opening balances, go live from a clean date and access the old system for historical queries. We provide data migration templates and tools that extract data from Tally and Busy formats directly, significantly reducing the manual data preparation effort.
A demo session with 2iSolutions is scoped to your industry and business processes — not a generic product walkthrough that shows every module in 45 minutes without going deep on anything. We ask you to describe your current process pain areas before the demo, and the demo focuses on showing how SAP Business One handles those specific scenarios. For manufacturing businesses, that typically means production planning, BOM management, shop floor confirmation and inventory reconciliation. For distributors, it means order-to-cash, multi-location stock, secondary sales and GST invoicing. For pharma, it means batch management, quality hold, expiry tracking and regulatory document generation. A free trial (typically 30 days on a cloud instance) gives your team time to explore the product with sample data. The more valuable investment is usually the scoped demo first — it tells you whether the product fits before you commit time to a trial.
