Odoo Integration Services
Odoo's internal modules integrate natively — manufacturing talks to inventory talks to accounting without middleware. But most businesses also have systems outside Odoo that need to be connected: payment gateways, marketplaces, logistics providers, government compliance portals, banking systems, and in many cases SAP. 2iSolutions designs and builds Odoo integrations using API-first patterns that are reliable, maintainable and upgrade-safe — covering the full range from Indian GST compliance integrations to Odoo ↔ SAP cross-platform data flows.
What we connect to Odoo
Every integration category has different technical requirements, data mapping complexity and reliability considerations. We assess each integration individually before recommending an approach.
Payment Gateways
Razorpay, PayU, CCAvenue, Stripe, PayPal and bank payment links — integrated with Odoo Sales, E-commerce and Accounting so payments are automatically reconciled against invoices without manual matching.
E-Commerce & Marketplaces
Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento — orders synced to Odoo, inventory updated bidirectionally, shipment status pushed back to marketplace, and returns managed within Odoo's inventory.
Logistics & Shipping
Shiprocket, Delhivery, BlueDart, Ekart, DTDC — delivery orders pushed from Odoo, AWB numbers returned and attached to Odoo stock pickings, shipment tracking status updated, and POD confirmation received.
Banking & Reconciliation
Bank statement auto-import via OFX/CSV or direct bank API feeds, automated matching of bank credits against open Odoo invoices, and bank payment file generation (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) from Odoo payment orders.
CRM & Marketing Platforms
Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM — customer and lead data synchronised between Odoo and the external CRM, sales orders created in Odoo from CRM opportunities, and deal stages reflected across both systems.
HR, Payroll & Attendance
Biometric attendance devices, Greytip, ADP, RazorpayX payroll, and HRMS platforms — attendance data fed into Odoo payroll, payroll outputs pushed to payroll processors, and employee records synchronised across HR systems.
WhatsApp & Communication
WhatsApp Business API for order confirmations, invoice delivery, delivery notifications and customer service — triggered from Odoo workflows without manual copy-paste.
WMS & Warehouse Systems
Third-party Warehouse Management Systems integrated with Odoo Inventory — stock movements, pick-pack-ship operations and barcode scanning synchronised in real time.
IoT & Shop Floor Devices
Barcode scanners, weighing scales, production counters and IoT sensors feeding data into Odoo Manufacturing and Inventory — mentioned explicitly in 2iSolutions' core service description.
SAP ↔ Odoo integrations — something only we can deliver
Running Odoo for distribution and SAP for manufacturing? We connect them.
Some organisations run Odoo for certain functions (distribution management, dealer portals, D2C e-commerce) while running SAP S/4HANA or SAP Business One for core manufacturing and finance. This is a legitimate architecture — but it requires a partner who understands both platforms deeply enough to design the data flows correctly. As both a certified Odoo partner and SAP Gold Partner, 2iSolutions is uniquely positioned to deliver these integrations.

Indian statutory integrations — built in, not bolted on
Indian businesses have compliance integration requirements that don't exist in most global ERP markets. We build all of these into Odoo as part of implementation — but also extend and maintain them as regulations evolve.
GST E-Invoicing (IRN / IRP)
Odoo invoices submitted to the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP) via API, IRN and QR code returned and embedded in the invoice PDF. Auto-triggered for eligible transactions above the e-invoicing threshold.
E-Way Bill (EWB Portal)
E-way bills generated from Odoo delivery orders via NIC portal API — EWB number returned and printed on the delivery note. Cancellation and extension managed from within Odoo without logging into the portal manually.
GSTR Filing Support
GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2A reconciliation data prepared from Odoo transactions — exported in the GST portal's JSON format or via GST Suvidha Provider (GSP) API integration for direct filing.
TDS / TCS Compliance
TDS deductions on vendor payments and TCS collection on applicable sales transactions — calculated, deducted and tracked within Odoo. 26Q and 27Q return data prepared from Odoo TDS ledger.
UPI & Payment Links
UPI payment links generated from Odoo invoices and sent to customers via WhatsApp or email — payment status webhook updates Odoo automatically, marking invoices as paid without manual reconciliation.
Aadhaar / PAN Verification
Customer and vendor KYC verification — Aadhaar OTP authentication and PAN validation via NSDL/UIDAI API, linked to Odoo partner records for compliance documentation.
How we build Odoo integrations — four patterns, chosen by fit
There is no single right way to integrate Odoo with an external system. The right pattern depends on data volume, latency requirements, the external system's API capabilities, and the complexity of the data transformation required.
REST / JSON-RPC API (Odoo External API)
Odoo's standard external API — every object in Odoo is accessible via JSON-RPC. Used for real-time integrations where external systems need to read or write Odoo data on demand: order creation from a marketplace, stock availability queries from a website, payment confirmation from a gateway. Upgrade-safe and the most maintainable long-term approach.
Webhooks & Automated Actions
Odoo triggers an outbound call to an external system when a defined event occurs — invoice confirmed, delivery dispatched, payment received. Eliminates polling, reduces API load, and ensures external systems receive data immediately when something changes in Odoo rather than waiting for a scheduled sync.
Batch Sync via Scheduled Actions
For high-volume or non-latency-sensitive integrations — daily product catalogue exports, nightly financial reconciliation, periodic inventory sync with logistics partners. Odoo's scheduled action framework runs the sync job, with error logging and retry logic built into the integration module.
Middleware / iPaaS
For complex multi-system landscapes where data flows through multiple transformations, or where a hub-and-spoke integration pattern is needed. Tools like SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft or n8n sit between Odoo and the external systems — particularly relevant for SAP ↔ Odoo scenarios where transformation logic is significant.
What makes 2iSolutions different for Odoo integration
SAP + Odoo Integration Expertise
The only partner in our market implementing both SAP and Odoo — meaning we design and build Odoo-to-SAP integrations with a real understanding of both platforms' data models, APIs and architectural patterns. No other Odoo partner has this.
API-First, Not Workaround-First
We build integrations using official APIs and native Odoo extension patterns — not screen scraping, database-level access or undocumented endpoints. This means integrations survive Odoo upgrades and external system updates without breaking.
Error Handling & Monitoring Built In
Every integration we build includes error logging, retry logic, alerting on failure and a reconciliation mechanism for detecting data gaps. Integrations that silently fail are more dangerous than integrations that visibly fail; ours alert you when something goes wrong.
Indian Compliance Depth
GST e-invoicing, e-way bill, TDS, UPI and banking integrations for Indian businesses — we understand the regulatory context, the portal APIs and the edge cases that generic Odoo integration guides don't cover.
IoT & Shop Floor Integration
Integrating Odoo with barcode scanners, weighing scales, production counters and IoT sensors — connecting the physical shop floor to the digital ERP. This capability is explicitly part of 2iSolutions' core service offering and not widely available from standard Odoo partners.
Integration + Support in One Contract
Integrations need ongoing maintenance — APIs change, authentication tokens expire, data formats evolve. We maintain the integrations we build under the same AMC that covers the rest of your Odoo support, with a single point of contact for both ERP issues and integration issues.
Odoo integrations from a team that builds on SAP BTP too
Our integration practice spans SAP Integration Suite, Odoo's JSON-RPC API, REST middleware, IoT connectors and custom ETL pipelines — built on 21 years of ERP integration experience across both SAP and Odoo landscapes.
Odoo integration services: frequently asked questions
How does Odoo integrate with external systems?
Odoo exposes every model and method through its standard JSON-RPC and XML-RPC external API — meaning any system that can make HTTP requests can read from or write to Odoo. We also use Odoo's webhook/automated action framework for event-driven outbound calls, and Odoo's native connector modules from the App Store where they exist. For complex multi-system scenarios, we use middleware like SAP Integration Suite or n8n as an orchestration layer.
Can Odoo integrate with Amazon and Flipkart simultaneously?
Yes — Odoo can maintain separate marketplace connections for Amazon Seller Central and Flipkart Seller Hub simultaneously, with inventory updates pushed to both channels and orders pulled from both into Odoo's Sales module. Stock availability is updated in real time across all connected marketplaces when a sale is confirmed on any channel, preventing overselling.
Is GST e-invoicing integration mandatory for Odoo in India?
E-invoicing is mandatory for businesses above the applicable annual turnover threshold (currently ₹5 crore). If your business is above this threshold, every B2B invoice must be submitted to the IRP and an IRN obtained before the invoice is valid. We integrate this into Odoo so IRN generation is triggered automatically on invoice confirmation — not a manual portal login after the fact.
Can Odoo and SAP run together in the same organisation?
Yes — and it's more common than it might seem. Manufacturers often run SAP for core production and finance while using Odoo for distribution management, dealer portals or D2C e-commerce — where Odoo's flexibility and fast deployment are advantageous. The integration between the two systems requires a partner who understands both; 2iSolutions is the only partner in our market that qualifies.
Will integrations break when Odoo is upgraded to a new version?
Integrations built using Odoo's standard external API (JSON-RPC) are generally stable across Odoo versions — the API contract is maintained. Integrations that rely on internal Odoo methods, undocumented endpoints or database-level access are the ones that break on upgrades. We build exclusively using the external API and native module patterns, so integrations survive version upgrades with minimal or no changes.
How long does an Odoo integration take to build and test?
Simple integrations — a payment gateway, a logistics partner with a standard API — take 1–3 weeks to design, build and test. Complex integrations — SAP ↔ Odoo with multiple data flows, marketplace integrations with reconciliation logic, IoT device integrations with real-time data — take 4–12 weeks. We scope each integration individually based on the external system's API maturity, the data transformation complexity and the error handling requirements.
