We have an excellent 2 year contract opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst in Toronto.
The Resource will be required to work remotely due to the COVID 19 restrictions, this may change based on the provincial guidelines.

Must haves:
• Minimum 8 years as a Business Analyst.
• Mandatory 2 full Time and Attendance and Workforce Scheduling related end-to-end implementations.
• At least 2 years of practical experience with using a wide variety of techniques to document requirements and in using a variety of models/diagrams/documents.
• Strong knowledge of time and attendance and workforce scheduling processes and integration to SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP Payroll, and SAP Finance S/4.
• Knowledge of SAP Time and Attendance products including Workforce Management.
• 1 year of transit specific project experience working on time, attendance and transformation modernization initiatives as a Business Analyst would be preferred.

1.0 Description of Assignment
ITS is searching for a Business Analyst in the SAP field, specifically with experience in Time Attendance, Absences, and Workforce Scheduling. The key focus will be on the operators’ business process which will be modernized as part of the transformation journey

This SAP Time Management Business Analyst role includes: review as-is processes documentation, participating in the business process global and local design, prioritizing business processes, participation in customer meetings/workshops, and process discussions following and using leading practices in business analysis.

Therefore, strong facilitation, interpersonal and customer skills are needed to interact with client management groups as well as the ability to apply analysis, definition, and documentation for business, system and data processes following leading practices

2.0 Skills and Certifications
• 1 year of transit specific project experience working on time, attendance and transformation modernization initiatives as a Business Analyst would be an asset
• Minimum 8 years as a Business Analyst (see section 4.0 Deliverables)
• Mandatory 2 full Time and Attendance and Workforce Scheduling related end-to-end implementations
• At least 2 years of practical experience with using a wide variety of techniques to document requirements and in using a variety of models/diagrams/documents
• Strong knowledge of time and attendance and workforce scheduling processes and integration to SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP Payroll, and SAP Finance S/4
• Strong standard knowledge of Time and Attendance Management, Absence Management, Workforce Scheduling Management, Workforce Policy and Pay Rules, Labour Laws and Union Agreements
• Knowledge of SAP Time and Attendance products including Workforce Management
• Major IT implementation experience and understanding how systems are affected by business process change
• Expert, hands-on knowledge of MS Office tools
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

Certification:
• CBAP or equivalent is an asset
• Post-secondary education in a related discipline
• SAP Time Management is an asset

Other Skills:
• Hands on experience in SAP Payroll is a strong asset
• Understanding of SAP’s Activate Methodology
• Public Service and Transit experience is an asset.
3.0 Assignment Duties
As a SAP Time Management Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:

• Participate in the deployment of the new business processes including end-user training and transition to TTC support Team;
• Prepare and maintain associated project documentation as necessary;
• Work closely with end users to ensure a common understanding of day to day processes;
• Create test plans, training materials and system documentation for internal and external clients;
• Prepare and maintain SAP business process documentation as necessary;
• Assist with SAP End-User Training to all relevant stakeholders;
• Prepare functional specs for all system changes, working with developers where necessary;
• Participate in project planning, change management, communications, testing, training, go-live and post go-live support activities;
• Participate in the following areas: solution scoping, requirements analysis, gap analysis, feasibility, functional design, application configuration, technical specification, testing, production deployment, support and training;
• Follow all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures and practices in performing required work;
• Occasional site visits in subway station, platform, bus and street stop, terminal and TTC office in different GTA location, and during different shifts, may be required. The incumbent must be able to accept the required travel within GTA and comply with OHSA and TTC Health and Safety policies and procedures in the workplace;
• Other project duties as assigned.
4.0 Deliverables
Key deliverables for this position is as follows:

• Maintain the as-is process documentation, working with closely with the process owners to ensure a common understanding and to refine as necessary;
• Document the to-be business process under the guidance of the process owners and project team, adhering to SAP best practices;
• Prepare and maintain SAP business process documentation as necessary;
• Prepare functional specifications for system changes, working with developers when appropriate;
• Translate business requirements into system requirements and collaborate with development team to ensure that requirements are understood and met during project phases;
• Participate in the following areas as required: solution scoping, requirements analysis, gap analysis, feasibility, functional design, technical specification, testing, production deployment, support and training;
• Support the following areas as required: project planning, change management, communications, testing, training, go-live and post go-live support activities;
• Others as determined and assigned by ITS-SAP Management.
