Work would be done remotely until the pandemic situation normalizes.
Must haves:
• Reliability level Federal Security clearance is mandatory.
• 5+ years’ experience in an IT environment.
• 4+ years’ hands on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS Web Services EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route53, S3, and other AWS Services.
• Strong working knowledge of Cloud operational best practices.
• AWS DevOps Certificates would be preferred.

Job Title: DevOps Engineer – Senior (AWS Cloud)
Location: For now, remote until further notice regarding Covid-19 is over. In general, the work is to be carried out at Meadow pine Blvd in Toronto.
Period: 6 months, possibility of extension
SCOPE
DevOps Engineer – Senior to build and automate the AWS infrastructure that enables developers to deploy applications to multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS, and can direct improvements to build and release scripts, tools, and processes. Required Skills & Experience with AWS infrastructure, Cloud Formation scripts, Docker containers Experience deploying CI/CD, Experience Knowledge of AWS Security, encryption, security groups. This individual will consult and work closely with the Enterprise Architectural Group and project delivery teams to assist with automation and deployments.
Must Have’s
• The ability to understand and maintain Scripting software
• Hands on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure; Min 4 years
• Experience with AWS Web Services EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route53, S3, and other AWS Services
• Strong working knowledge of Cloud operational best practices.
• Deep expertise in Monitoring distributed systems application architectures
• Exposure to & maintenance of configuration management tools at scale
• Diagnosing & troubleshooting incidents & outages
• Exposure to system &application-level telemetry for large distributed cloud architectures Diagnosing, resolving problems in high-throughput web applications & network services
• Expert level troubleshooting skills across different levels of the solution stack
• A strong understanding of Security best practices for Cloud based solutions.
Nice to Have’s
• Experience with container management and micro-services architectures such as Docker Application clustering / load balancing concepts and technologies Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP, DHCP, TCP, IP etc.)
• Experience monitoring cloud services with any HPE tools
• Experience migrating existing on-premise applications and services to AWS Awareness and insight into industry trends (technology, methods and tooling)
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles, certification is a plus
