Innovapost requires an Organizational Change Management (OCM) consultant for the Network Renewal Program who will be responsible for ensuring employee awareness, adoption and usage of the various technologies and services that will be deployed as part of the Program.


Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Develop, implement, and advise on change management strategies, plans and activities across the organization for projects and initiatives, which include the following activities, but are not limited to:

  • Design quality change management strategies
  • Perform change impact analysis (i.e., scope of planned change, impacted audiences, readiness of the organization to accept change, risk etc.)
  • Develop targeted strategies to address the impacts of change on people, organization, process, tools and technology, leadership and management
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps, and develop action plans to address them
  • Manage key internal stakeholders’ expectations and act as a change management coach for employees and leads
  • Engage key stakeholders and/or the project sponsor(s) to gain buy-in for change management strategies and plans
  • Prepare and present communication and change management plans and status reports to all levels within the organization, providing ongoing input as required
  • Measure communication and change outcomes and performance, and report findings to key stakeholders
  • Identify methods to measure adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes


Must Haves:

  • Experience planning for and executing change management activities large scale deployments and migrations in organization with more than 10,000 employees (3+  years)
  • Experience related developing plans, sizing and scoping the following change management activities – conducting Stakeholder Impact Assessments, developing Change Management Strategies and Plans, facilitating information sessions, overseeing communications activities, managing resistance, establishing change agent/champion networks and employing Change Management Readiness Assessments (5+ years)
  • Experience in developing change management activities to multiple and diverse stakeholder groups (with varying levels of technical proficiency)  (5+ years)



  • Experience in developing and delivering change in unionized environments
  • Experience in sizing and scoping requirements for training plans and training materials to support deployment (e.g., super-user training, eLearning modules, reference materials, etc.)
  • Certification in change management methodologies such as Prosci or CMI
  • ITIL Foundations (Asset), Agile foundations (Asset), PMP (Asset);
  • Experience working with Canada Post Group of Companies
