About the project, at a high level :
Citizens Bank currently have an Agile training program, which includes:
2 hour overview – introductory content
2 day workshop – covers primarily fundamental concepts
2 week bootcamp – this is on-demand
The sessions are run by Agile coaches, but there is no centralized content, or impact measurement. The coaches use their own approach to provide this training. The session may have some remote attendees, but content may not have been designed for remote. Most of the training is ad-hoc / on-demand.
Citizens Bank is looking to standardize, and scale Agile training across the footprint as part of a bank-wide initiative. They do want to keep elements that allow for fastest upskilling for colleagues, and includes ‘learning by doing’.
Citizens Bank is exploring partnering with a vendor for rapid needs assessment while working with our stakeholders to help determine the best curriculum, the content delivery modalities and delivery methodologies, creating (or redesigning / utilizing existing) content to support the learning objectives, TTT sessions, delivery rollout, driving adoption and measuring impact.
Some of the learner segments and topics would be:
– Current Project managers (who use waterfall) to scrum master
– experience owners to product owners
– training for functional managers whose team members go to agile pods
– team effectiveness training for a new pod that’s being put together/ members new to an agile pod
– overview of why agile is important as a starting point
